Oh ess aitch eye tea.Mr Happy chops here, although puffy chops i should be called. I woke with with a nose bleed twice in one week again this morning, and have lymph nodes in my neck like bananas !!!!#13;#10;Will sort that out tomorrow.I've heard from the guy I was seeing before christmas again, and he's offered me his hand, i dunno it ended so revoltingly i'm not sure i want to. Yet the apology i received was pretty nice and i'm not an Rsole, and i did fall for him largely, so we shall see. Other than all that and stuff. Life is fantastic right now, though worried about the lumps and nosebleeds. the obvious tests a gay man does every 6 months are all squeaky clean.So i'm hoping it's just a viral thing, though of course as a nurse i have diagnosed this that and the other. ha ha ha.I do have my 6 month platinum undercarriage check up soon though. How marvellous#13;#10;#13;#10;

Quark, that sounds horrible and I hope you get it sorted soon!

Perhaps have a meeting with your ex and see what he has to say? You can then see if you want to take it forward again.

It won't hurt, and you might regret it if you don't.

Hi Quark,

Its great to see you so upbeat even if youre not in the best of health right now, as you say all your check ups have come back fine, so I hope you arent worrying too much.

As with being given the hand, I wouldnt take it hun, if it didnt work the first time, then why would it work now? You dont want to set yourself up for another horrible ending, youre worth so much more than that.

You only live once so there is no point in visiting the same (bad memory type) place twice eh? Spread your wings and see what else the world has to offer.

I don't know Lily - hubby and me split up once (before we were married), got back together and are still together almost 21 years later!

I agree with Jan - Dave and I split up a couple of times but ended up together. We've been together without any breaks for over 9 years now.

Oh I see well that was just my take on it. I was with a chap, we split up and got back together again and then split up again, each time feeling all the emotions. Just recently he contacted me through face book but I thought our differences were such that it would never work and I didnt want to go over old ground again.

There's no right or wrong about this, it's how you feel. Although it nearly destroyed me when he left, it felt right to take him back, and the last time I was very, very clear that it was the last time.

well thanks guys, yes i'm not down at all, i refuse to be.Health of course is important,physical and mental. As for the ex, well, i was to blame as well,i freaked him out completely with my don't ever screw me over attitude, and i've moved on from being that person, i do not need a cohabitating relationship just now, i'm really enjoying filling my days with work and other activities,hobbies etc.But i have missed him, and something was developing, though as i have mentioned before i'm not about to do what i've always done, thus getting what i've always got. We're planning to go for a movie tomorrow, so will see what happens, nervous, but really i'm almost sure i don't want anything serious, however i may melt a bit when i see him.That's natural though, and there will be no snogging at all !!!

That's nice Quark, I hope you have a great evening, and just see how it goes. Take it one step at a time.

Let us know how it goes!

I was 23/24 when Dave and I were having problems, with no children and no other ties so it was only me who would have been hurt.

Good luck for tomorrow night Quark, I hope you have a good time x

Thanks Skip, just been thinking, with all the misery and stress, and negativity going on in the world, i have to say, that although we fought and it was awful and angry, everyone and everything deserves a 2nd chance, yes it might not work out, but an evening to get spruced up dapper for a bloke and go to the cinema with him, is better than not. Nothing to lose, and he's very sweet and has behaved like a gent in asking, who knows eh ? Everything else is going so nicely for me, why not maybe get a cheeky snog in the movies. LOL, will keep you posted.

Oh yeah, and he's born of a Jewish mother, herself a New Yorker, and he, an only child, 8 years my junior, arghhh, duno if she's been having a word with him, or if she has had any doings, he he, so there's me, a blue eyed, blonde danish man, and him half jewish, and half portuguese, dare i say we make a dangerously handsome visual feast !!!
