Help, I am opposing my ex-husbands bankruptcy, opposition was filed with the courts through my counsel at the time, I no longer have counsel, can't afford it. Discharge date has been set for Feb. 12, 2009, now I need to file affidavit material ..proof of his lies and fraudulent claims including bank accounts idscovered, business claimed closed but wasn't etc. he claimed bankruptyc to get out of lump sum payment ordered is Family court. I need the proper forms to file my proof in opposition to his claim. ex. bank statments showing income of $12,000. for one month claimed $3,600.00 in bankruptcy.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Am I right in thinking that this is a US bankruptcy? If so unfortunately we cannot give you advice on this forum as the experts are UK insolvency practitioners.

You will need to take advice in the US, and I wish you luck with this.

Is it your husband's discharge from bankruptcy that you are opposing?

Debts awarded under Family Law are generally excluded from bankruptcy proceedings in the UK, to avoid people using the procedure to avoid maintaining their responsibilities.
