YOU REPLIED TO A QUESTION A WEEK OR SO AGO REGARDING ME LOSING MY JOB AND ME POSSIBLY DEAFULTING ON MY IVA. MY FEAR ABOUT BANKRUPCY IS THAT I LIVE IN RENTED ACCOMODATION WITH MY GIRLFRIEND, THOUGH SHE HAS LIVED THERE FOR 15 YEARS AND ME FOR JUST 5. I HAVE NO ASSETS BUT FEAR HER POSSESSIONS ARE AT RISK. AM I RIGHT?

Hi,

If there is only you going bankrupt, then your girlfriends possessions should be safe.

One of the experts will confirm (or otherwise!).

No, your girlfriends possessions aren't at risk. I live with my partner and the OR wasn't interested in anything of his.

Skippy is "spot on" with her advice as ever - so don't worry any more about your girlfriend's property.
