Hi everyone

reading through these forums have made me realise I am not the "odd one out" and that there are people in a similair situation as i am in.
I took out my IVA in 2004 (september) where my toatl debts where approx 55k, (god knows how i got so high in debt)in 2006 I was finding it hard to cope with the 450 per month payments and I spoke to my IP ( Mr T Askham @ Mazars in Manchester) who agreed I could reduce my payments to 308 per month and add an extra year to the IVA, Well my IVA finishes in December 2010, ( will be the happiest time of my life lol) I may be able to get some money from a family member in around April time to pay off in a full and final settlement, so I have worked out that 20 months x 308 = £6160, Do you think I make a full and final offer to my IP of £5000, do you think this is too low? or should I go in with an offer of £6000?

I am just kicking myself that i never found these forums earlier, reading through all the posts would have helped me out a lot!

Thanks everyone

Rich

Hi and welcome.

£5000 seems like a good offer to me.
