Bank of Scotland and DMP's

We are currently in a dmp with several creditors, some of whom have already frozen interest and charges and others who have stopped calling but still charge...and then there's Bank of Scotland. So far, they haven't made any acknowledgement of the dmp and still phone regularly - up to 8 times one day last month. They called again yesterday and in conclusion, having denied all knowledge of everything yet again(!) said they would log our information but would still call back in 10 days all the time we owe them arrears because that's their policy. Told them it was their phone bill not mine but does anyone else have experience of Bank of Scotland and whether they finally accept dmps?!

Not personally Lainey, but you will find that they will usually sell the debt on, and whoever they sell to will probably be more amenable to a DMP.

Have you spoken to your company about this hassle you are getting?

They need to have a word again to ask them to abide by the DMP.

Thanks Jan. I believe Vincent Bond have already contacted them so hopefully things will improve eventually. Can't believe i'm actually waiting for the debt to be sold on - a few months back I'd have died of shame - ho hum! How times change!
