Hi all, just to let you know that we have just had the phonecall to tell us that both of our interlocking proposals were accepted without modifications other than minor ones for the IP.

Thanks to all the well-wishers. We now know that we only had one vote against us out of 7 creditors. I had 100 %, my wife had 86.4%, so all went through quite smoothly. As for budgetting, we were in a DMP for 12 months prior to taking on an IVA, and the IVA payments are identical to the DMP payments, and we can continue to pay weekly, which helps us with our budgetting too. All in all, fairly painless.
In retrospect I wish we had taken on the IVA sooner but at least we got used to a lower income level before comitting legally.
