Would anyone happen to know why my IVA is not showing on my Credit File. I am currently 17 months into my IVA but for some reason it is now showing anywhere on my report. I spoke to callcredit and they said i need to send paperwork in to confirm so they can add it onto my file. Very odd!

Hi Star, no idea as I've never checked mine since being within an IVA, maybe other posters can help you but I wouldn't worry if it's not showing.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I've tried checking mine but they won't let me :-(.
This is what my email back said when I asked for it:

"Protective Registration" sounds like a CIFAS protection marker has been put on your file to protect you, did you register with CIFAS? if so then the CRA's need to be sure you are who you say you are before allowing access to your file.

Sounds like that to me as well.

CIFAS is really good as long as you are prepared to jump through hoops before being able to get to your own information.

I used them when my card details were used a few years ago, and once I am credit worthy after the IVA is completed, I will use them again.

Me too CIFAS protective registration is what I will do too, just as soon as my IVA completes and all the wrong default dates have been corrected.
