Jonosi, I specifically asked about the completion certificate and removal from IVA register as this is what's needed to move on, at the end of the conversation I again asked Karol to confirm this would all be within the 5 to 10 days she quoted and she did. I just have to wait and see if they live up to their promise, I will keep the forum posted.

Hi all, quick update. Varden Nuttall have received confirmation from HMRC that the VAT claim is being processed and a cheque should be sent in the next week or so.

I expect that other IP's will receive similar confirmation over the coming weeks.

This should be a massive relief to all those who are awaiting closure of their arrangements.

I will escalate these concerns to the Grant Thornton partners tomorrow, as there seem to be a few disgruntled clients at the moment and they ought to be made aware of this. I know both of them very well and they will be concerned to note this feedback.
Hi Melanie, would be interested to know what the reaction of the GT partners was?

BTW Tenon have just sacked 60% of their staff.
That can't help matters.

60 ?! I'd heard 10%
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I'm happy to be corrected.

"RSM Tenon unveiled a cost-cutting programme – which will see 300 out of 3,166 staff fired – which helped lift the shares 16.3pc to 7.27p."
