We are in an IVA and have just had bailiffs threatening to take our car away today over an unpaid parking fine. We disputed the parking fine at the time but have heard nothing back. This was from last June on a Sainsbury's car park owned by Shropshire Council.

We now have Bristow & Sutor saying they are going to take our car and that the fine of £50 is now £350.

Please can anyone offer any advice. We live in the middle of the counryside on a farm and need the car as there is no bus route to take our daughter to school.

Court fines cannot be included in an IVA, so you will either have to pay the fine or continue with your dispute to avoid the loss of your car.
