It does seem strange that you say you don't know who your IP is at Grant Thornton - it will either be Mark Allen or Gareth Neill, but you should have been notified of this at the handover and the Insolvency Register should have also been updated at the same time.

Try making contact with Karol Wilson - her primary role is dealing with clients who feel they are not getting the correct level of client service, and I think she does a pretty good job. She regularly vists the forum and I am sure that her intervention in your case will assist.

Ive checked the insolvency register to find out who it is. I have tried to ring but unfortunately when I finish work so do they so Ive found it easier to email. Angelrainbow I have even tried replying to the personalised email of the person at GT who replies but it still doesnt get a reply!

You should be able to find out who your IP is via the Insolvency Service website by inputting your details.

Gotta be honest BoL ive always felt the same when its advised that people email Karol direct using the subject line, in fairness many posters do come back and say it was sorted and Karol has been really helpful, however i find it unfair that often people only get months worth of issues and non communication sorted by usualy finding this forum, getting the advise to contact karol direct etc then getting what ever issues it is sorted.

Just my two pennies worth!!

I sent email to Karol as per the instructions on 5th March 2012 and have posted several threads on the forum and not received reply to either !! My email was quite critical of their customer services so has probably been put to the bottom of the pile or " lost " in cyberspace.
I have also read that GT are closing cases where final payment was made after I made mine, any ideas what criteria they are using to clear the back log !!!

Im giving them until 5pm then Im cancelling my DD and paying manually with my next payment reflectin the bank charges incurred due to their mistake.

Insolvency register not only shows Blair Endersby as our IP, but also my previous address and maiden name. Go figure.
Completion Certificate received September 2012.

I feel sure that Grant Thornton would have written to the Registrar of IVAs when they were appointed over the BE cases - perhaps Karol can clarify that point - but with almost 5,000 cases to update perhaps the Insolvency Service also have a current backlog?

One of the Associate Directors at GT told me a few weeks ago that they recently did a bulk update of the Insolvency Register to update the BE cases - he even suggested this was the reason why the Register was offline for a few days.

It doesn't seem to have worked though - my entry still shows BE as the Supervisor.
Completion certificate received 31 March 2012.
