Hi, I have just made my final payment to my IVA paying back a total of over 60k. What an amazing feeling to have completed it. For anyone out there that is at any stage then all i can say is keep at it. its a long and slow process but well worth reaching the final hurdle. Thank you for all of those people that helped me a long the way by answering some of my questions.

This often happens once an IVA has concluded. People become obsessed with making sure they have enough for a rainy day, and feel guilty spending the money. Don't forget to have the occasional treat - you have earned them!

I have to say that since finishing I have been somewhat extrvagant on the kids and they have got lots of things this year that previously were unaffordable. I can pay for them in cash and still bank money in my ISA. Happy days.
Last Payment - November 2011 - Completion Certificate received 2 weeks after last payment, Removed from Insolvency Register within 4 weeks after last payment.
