You never know Bazza -- I didn't think I had any and they came up with offers of a little over £7000 - which includes £2000 interest!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Really pleased for you Foggy.. Good luck to you.we were only paying for approx 18 months, we paid between £25-45 PPI per month and dont know how long we paid what amount, the only statement I have showing PPI is £45 but may have only paid that for a month or so, just dont know.
Dont think it will amount to much tho

OK Foggy - that may be GT's policy and there is no problem with this if they want to be directly accountable to HMRC. In fact, the latest draft regulatory guidance on PPI (due to be issued to all IPs now by the end of this month) indicates that the IP should take responsibility for this and deduct tax at the basic rate of 20% and account for this directly to HMRC.

Non-tax payers could be prejudiced by this treatment (or at least their creditors could be disadvantaged), and higher rate tax payers could be left with a further liablity. However the RPBs are currently consulting with HMRC on these points.

Bazza, although I have had letters from the creditors stating the amounts of the repayments, I have not heard from my company whether these amounts have yet been paid over, but, yes, they are all going into my IVA (minus, of course, the claims companies (in this case) 25%.

Sorry to hear you've had no joy - nobody else has either.

Did you email Karol directly?

ivacustomerservices@uk.gt.com and ensure that "IVA Forum" is all that is entered in the subject line of the email.

Send an email via the above link and Karol should be in touch with you.

Hi Bazza, do you have a phone number for the closures team at GT? If you have could you let us have it please as there's lots of us that would be delighted to speak to them directly as they don't advertise their phone number, just an email account. Would be eternally grateful.
