Hi and welcome to the forum.

Do you mean you want to sort an IVA out within a 3 month period? Maybe a full and final offer to your creditors?

Either way your IVA will remain on your credit file for 6 years from date of acceptance.

Correct me if I've misunderstood your post.

sorry for lack of clarity.
I am in an iva and have got 24 months to run .I also have the equity release stuff in my iva but my property is in negative equity so dont think i will need to make any additional payments.

A friend wants to help me settle iva early and i wanted to know if this can be sorted in 3 months or does it take much longer to achieve this?

Thank you for responding.

It can take longer in some instances and although there is no equity is there a PPI claim to make.

Is there a reason you need to have it sorted within 3 months, if there is why not appoach your IP and ask the question.

Hi Ordal91 and welcome to the forum,

If your friend had offered to settle your IVA you will need to have a chat with your IP as the timescales will depend on their case load.

Your creditors need have be given 28days notice of a variation meeting so in theory 3 months should be acheivable but do have a chat with your IP.
