Hi all, hope you can assist and share you views or ideas on this.
I have got some stuff at home which I don't need anymore example motorcycle parts and planning to sell on ebay. Does this count as a surplus and would I be required to declare the money I had into the iva pot? Any advise will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Newboy -- selling personal stuff on ebay is perfectly OK. If you started to re-sell as a business venture the profit would need to be declared --- but surplus stuff ... no worries ... bit like having a car boot sale :-)
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I would say that as long as the items you are selling are of relatively low value, then there is no need to notify your IP. What value do you place on the items you are wanting to sell?
