I pay my final payment on 1st May 2015 which I can't wait!!!

I tend to make contact every few months to make sure everything is going as it should. As it stands everything is in order and no additional monies are due.

How long after my final payment should I get my completion certificate?

Firstly well done on almost completing, the certificate will depend which company you're with as it does tend to vary between companies.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Full & final offer paid November 2014, recieved completion certificate January 2015.
Quick turn around by DFD. Cannot thank them enough.
Taken off insolvency register next day.
New bank account, new aqua credit card, trying to build up credit score.
It's nice feeling normal again.
Hope you get yours soon.

Completion action varies between companies however as you have been regularly updating them and checking hopefully it will be a matter of weeks. On average it is about 3-6 months but does vary.

Dear DCX1983

Great news that you've almost completed your IVA.

We would usually expect you to have your Completion Certificate within 4 months of completing your IVA.

Once you've made your final payment and we've completed your final review we'll be able to confirm this for you.

I hope this helps.

Four and a bit months for me before I received my certificate, but I chased every week until I had it!
