That's fantastic news - such a relief when it's all over!!

Many thanks , I still cannot believe it's finished !
What six years this has been ...

well 5 to start with and a worry about having to re mortgage, then it ended with a 12 month ext instead ..
Was very bumpy to start with with , and guess same as everyone ... then settle down and get use it and deal with it ...

I even managed to get car credit , at a higher rate , but credit all the same ... so that can be done depending on your circumstances...

Holidaying under canvas and discovering places in this country is also something we now enjoy !!!

Yes , it's a struggling thing to get to grips with but there is light at the other end and can safely say has made us more savvy with the £££ !!!

Hi Rob,

A few questions please, I have final payment after 6 years with CreditFix in March.

When did they contact you prior to last payment?
Did you have a final review?
How long after final payment was CC received?

Thanks
Toby

Congratulations!! Now you open a new leaf in your book. You should receive a fresh credit file like you did when turning 18.
Now you can start again and build your credit file from scratch. Well done and good luck !

Toby ...
Sorry , just seen your questions ...
We had a review done for the beginning of 2016 , there was no increase , our expenditure with running 2 vehicles , to get to work ...fuel , child expenses , child care expenses, etc etc etc meant no further increase ... also with review to mortgage there was no demand to re Mortgage but to extend iva for a further 12 months ... ( 6th year )

December we contacted them , you need to do this as I think there a little slow !!! Told us our case was with the closure department and they were now dealing with things...
contacted them again beginning of new year , was same being processed ... when last payment was made , we contacted them , they said was all fine and we could cancel our standing order ...

closure documents were being done and could take up to a month ... they mailed this to us with a few days ..and I received the documents Friday just gone ...do was quicker than expected ..

I would contact them rather than you wait. Especially if you are chomping at the bit like we were !!!!
As you want to know things , Call them ..it's there job !!!

Best of luck

last payment
