Let me take you back just over 6 years ago, I stood in the dining room discussing the possibility of an IVA with PJG, I had done all my research (this forum was a life saver) and decided PJG were the people I needed help from and so it started.

All went smoothly we adapted and changed to make payments then PJG after nearly 4 years sold us on to Creditfix (I had no hard feelings Mel and her team were great), I have to admit my heart sank as I reading all the negative reports about Creditfix, but two reviews and an equity release later I have to say they were fantasic.
I made my final payment last Friday 10th February and yesterday Thursday 16th February received an email of my completion certificate (is this a record 6 DAYS), I have to thank my IP Susan Wrigglesworth for this but especially my closure lady Nafy Ghunnoo who dealt with me in a professional and sympathetic manner and contacted me personally to advise what was to happen next.

So to finish please all who are just starting out stick with it, you adapt and change and I think we have for the better, we learnt to budget and will continue to do so, I would like to thank the experts on here, I have not contributed much personally but have checked in weekly for advice and to see how people are doing, but special thanks to Foggy, Kallis3, Lisa and Michael you guys probably don't realise what you do, but believe me we do, so thank you all very much.

Thank you for the kind words, Toby and well done on getting to the end. 6 Days ? That must be high on the leader board :-)

Yes, I regard the IVA process as somewhat of a rehabilitation exercise in itself ... we come out the other end back in touch with "real" money and learn to differentiate our "needs" from our "wants" .

Good, also, to hear that Creditfix are really getting their act together. We have yet to have reported on the forum any instance where they have dealt with a real problem, but they do seem to run an IVA fairly ( as I have said before, they do take the path of least resistance, which is usually in our favour). I just hope they don't go the way of many a large company and get too big for their boots (or, simply, too large to handle). I believe they already have over a third of the market on their books !!

Anyway, once again, well done, Onward and Upward :-)
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

We moved over to credit fix and apart from a fairly big monthly increase in payments we had no problems. It ended and they sent out the paperwork and that was it.
