Hi
Some iva companies are more stringent than others. I was with Aperture and they just asked for my wage slips and P60. They never asked to see bank statements. If your income and expenditure drastically change when you do your review then they may ask for bank statements. If i had an annual payrise of approx £50 per month then i would offset this agaist slightly higher expenditure as my children grew up. ( more food, school trips, school uniform, higher fuel costs, petrol costs etc. )

It is your money to spend as and when so whatever is easiest for you should be acceptable to the IP.

Generally your expenditure is scrutinized to any great extent, unless they are given reason. The biggies with their own allowances (power, insurance, rent / mortgage, etc) are usually evidenced, But how you spend housekeeping, for example, isn't.

I opened two Cashminder accounts. My salary ws paid into one and all my direct debits and regular expenses were paid from that. On pay day I would leave enough in that account to cover the bills and transfer the rest to the second account --- this was the "housekeeping" account. In the first year I then used to draw the housekeeping allowance in cash and shop with that on the basis that if I didn't have the cash in hand I couldn't spend it. It took me a while to have the confidence in my debit card again !
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I used to withdraw my money each money then split into cash piles for food, fuel etc. Leaving my direct debit money in my account only. I would then put any cash left over into a savings pot towards Christmas or camping weekends away.
