So hubby made F&F 4 months ago and we are still waiting on completion certificate. Someone called 2 weeks ago apologised for the delay and said it was being sent in the post that day, still nothing. Any ideas on how we can speed this up or do we just have to wait?

Ask them to re-issue the certificate if, indeed, it was issued as promised and also to send a copy by email. Most companies these days manage to get these out in a timely fashion, save for one or two.
