You will need to have a chat with a couple of insolvency firms -- as there are different solutions suited to different circumstances -- also you need to find a firm you are comfortable with.

There is lots of information required to give someone insolvency advice and whether or not an IVA is the best solution for them. Such as:
How much are your creditors, what are they made up of, what do you do for a living, how much is your surplus income (ignoring payments to creditors) what are your assets etc etc.
Speak to CAB or a local Insolvency practitioner fir in your local area.
