After some digging around, I have opened a post office savings account following a link on the money-saving expert site, seemed best interest rate available. I am newly in an IVA and didn't want to chance Co-op noticing my IVA if I could help it, in case the close my current account (opened a month before the IVA and not related to it)

I had one with the Yorkshire Building Society (not Yorkshire Bank) opened during my IVA with no problem. Swinton, at the time, also said they would be happy to open one.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
