Hello everyone.
It's been a while since I posted, but I know you all are experts and I have a question.
I took out an IVA in May 2012, and after a few years I made a full and final offer that was accepted about three years ago.
So, my six years is up in May and my thoughts have turned to trying to repair my credit. I have been accepted for an aqua credit card, and my plan is to spend approx £20 per month on this and clear each month. However, what happens about the IVA on my file? Do I need to contact the credit agencies, or will it automatically go?
I have been using noodle to check bits and peices, as it is free. Is this a reliable site?
Thanks in advance

Noddle is fine and also consider using Clearscore - also free.

Your score should improve once the IVA and associated defaults come off in May. It's also best to check Experian as well as the other 2 reports as a lot of Lenders rely on that one.

IVA Mortgage advice needed? Looking at Right to Buy and completed IVA still on credit files ?
Clearscrore and Noddle are OK for keeping an weye on things ... but for a proper check up you need to order statutory reports at £2 a pop from each of the three agencies. There is no need to join any monthly subscription service.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
