........Accepted!!!!
They have to go through all the modifications, to check there are no conflicting ones, but they have told me that over 75% accepted (Northern Rock have, and they had nearly 21% alone).
I must have asked her about 5 times if it was all ok and we were definately accepted - poor woman!
So i suppose I can celebrate, feels kinds odd - all this worry now...does it just fade away!
x

I did post this before, but it disappeared - must have been the excitement, I hit the wrong key!!!

Kal

Is the Northern Rock debt a Together loan or ordinary unsecured loan, and if the latter were you required to extend your IVA to six years?

It is a together mortgage we have, but an unsecured loan (not sure if it together or not).
They have not mentioned anything about extending to 6 yrs.
Fuuny you should say that as I had modifications from KPMG and they mentioned 72 months and I thought it had been extended, but McC D, say no it is only to go no further that that if we have to extend, arrears etc.
At the moment I am still paying NR, as the load payment is lumped in with my mortgage, so i said to my IP that we need to sort that out - I presume I will just tell them to take that off...anyone know?

That makes sense - and I am sure that if they held more than 25% of the votes you probably would have been asked to extend to 6 years.

Thanks all very much.
Funny as this time yesterday I was so worried and wondering how I would feel today with the build up to the meeting etc.
Now here I am, many hours after the meeting, thinking how quickly today has gone by, and that the right result has happened for me.
I couldn't bear to imagine what i would have done, had it gone the other way.
My phone is now back off going straight to answer phone and I can now not have that feeling of dread each time I hear it ring (probably won't ring at all now!!!!).
k.
