Great news Poxy. Creditors clearly took a commercial and sympathetic view and an excellent result all round. I assume the final dividend accepted was quite low?

I beleave it was 9p in the pound if that sounds right. we had debt £35k and they have accpeted £6000 + our payments to date as a final payment.

That does sound about right and goes to show that low dividends are accepted when they are best offer.

That definatly is the case Michael. I think my advise to anyone is make sure they are clear about what they want to do and that they understand everything that is involved in an IVA.

I will hang around for a while and see if I can help advise people on my experience. Thanks again to all of you, this forum is by far the best place to get advise.

Only just seen this Poxy and I am over the moon for you that they accepted your offer. Debt can be very stressful and at times has been known to put a wedge between relationships due to the stress and worry but now this is out the way I hope your relationship will bloom and remain happy for you
