Thanks Kallis and The Matrix.

I got the statutory £2 one from Experian and Equifax are doing a 30 free trial which I hadn't used before so I signed up for that. I will cancel before the 30 days are up of course.

Just a quick update - our names are now off the insolvency register.

My major creditor was Bank of Ireland and all three accounts with them are showing as settled on the Equifax credit report.

The ones still showing a default are Northern Rock, Nationwide and MBNA.

The defaults are dates from before the IVA started and are therefore correct entries. Does anyone know how long these creditors might take for them to update the status to settled?

Excellent news! No idea about the statuses but they'll all drop off at the end of the six years anyway.

The Information Commissioner advises that you should allow them 28 days for them to update your file or tell you the reason why they refuse to do so.
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.
