Hi all,
I haven't posted for quite a while, but thanks to Melanie and her staff I have finally slipped the bonds of the IVA. Sadly my marriage broke down towards the end as a cross between the stresses and tribulations of the IVA and my wife's ill health, so she won't see the benefits of a disposable income again. To finish after over 5 years is immense relief and to be free of debt and smiling again, but if it were not for Melanie I'm sure this would have had a worse ending and I am truly grateful for that. She certainly is a lady who knows her stuff and can recommend her to anyone. Thanks Melanie, I'll always be grateful.

All the best to those who are trudging through their IVAs, just stick with it. Now to clear my name! (credit agencies - of course!)

A.

Well done on completing but I'm sorry it has cost you your marriage. I take it there is no chance of you getting back together again?

A nice post for Mel as well.

A positive post for Mel and as a client of Mel's I can echo what you say.

I'm sorry to hear of your marriage breakdown and wish you well for your debt free future. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Thank you for taking time to post Andrew - and I too was sorry to hear that your marriage has been a casualty of your indebtedness. I know how hard you have tried throughout the IVA to keep all sides happy, and that at times it has been a great strain for you whilst coping with your wife's illness.

I hope and pray that you may be able to come to some form of reconciliation at some stage in the future. The very best of luck to you from me and all of the team.
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

Andrew I am hoping that now the stress of the IVA is behind you, you might eventually get a positive outcome with your wife if it's what you want and I hope that her health improves. Thinking of you both.

best wishes andrew and congratulations on completing, albeit at a huge personal cost

I know its easy for me to say not having the personal stress you must have gone through, however i like yourself have recently completed and am enjoying not only the extra money I have each month, but when I see the news and read papers about the state of the nations finances, I breathe a huge sigh of relief and feel that at the age of 46 , my life is just starting again, as its been on hld for the last 6 years

Well done and good luck for the future
Last payment made April 2012

Hi Andrew, congratulations on your completion, so sorry to hear about your relationship that must have been bittersweet. Hopefully now that you can put the stresses of your IVA behind albeit clearing your credit files are yet to come you can then enjoy your debt freedom and who knows what the future holds for you. Take care and good luck. x
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.
