Well after a along night waiting, we have got 100% yes vote for the variation and to conclude after the 5 years, been a long hard slog but so worth it, A very big thank you to Grant Thornton who under tremendous strain have done a wonderful job. We couldn't remortgage but hubby has been off sick for the past couple of months, just for the ones who don't know.

We were with Blair endersby so GRant Thornton have taken over a bum deal really and done a brill job for us.[:D]

It is so worth the cutting down and the learning curve, what a feeling I feel 10 years younger and so appreciate everything that has been done for us over the past 5 years, all the help I have received from my children with unexpected car hiccups. My only regret was my Son got married 3 weeks ago in Cyprus he paid for us to go but we could not afford to buy him anything, so now we can try and make amends big style.

THANK YOU GRANT THORNTON

Thanks everybody, Think its not quite sunk in yet and may have to buy 2 bottles of wine tonight, good luck to all of you with the rest of your journey, think I need a holiday but hubby says no we will save the money. Maybe he has learned more than I thought even though he has never really got involved and did not want to know the ins and outs of it all. Please all keep strong and look forward to knowing that one day all your money is yours and I feel so grateful for all the money that has been written off, I would have been dead before it was paid as well as skint for the rest of my life. A very very humbling experience. Thanks again. x Pam

You're welcome Pam and it would be good if you popped on the forum now and then to tell us how it's going as your journey will help someone else. x

Thanks Lesley, I will, I only found this a few months ago when I was getting desperate due to drop in wages and it is a great boost to know you are not alone, don't feel such a society reject when you realise, and the encouragement is wonderful and a real injection of hope. Pam x
