Hi Guys, I know I am sad, but I am due to pay my second IVA payment on 31st (so will probably leave my bank on Friday as its a Sunday) and I am really looking forward to it leaving my bank a/c [:0] I feel that as each month goes by, that very feint glimmer of light gets ever closer. Still a long way to go, but it certainly gives me the feel good factor. Just thought I'd share it..... Kazzy x

Hi Kazzy [:)]
I so know what you mean - think we are about 2 weeks behind you as our 2nd payment is due out on 15 Sep and I can't wait! [:0]
I even have a little chart at home where I cross off each payment - how sad am I?!!! [:I]
I do feel like we are finally after all these years achieving our dream of being debt free and it feels bloomin marvellous!!! [:D]

You're not sad at all.[:)]

It is a lovely feeling isn't it - we have just paid no 6....can't believe where that time went.
Our payment if it is due at the weekend, it always comes out the Monday that follows, so yours might be the same.

It a great feeling isnt it [:D] i have now paid 6 months worth and at the beginning it felt like is was gonna last forever, but i cant belive 6 payments are in already [:D] so much more to life now since the constant pressure of screening calls and constantly ignoring those horrible letters coming in the post has stopped [:)] i think the postman is happier too, his bag must be so much lighter and i even heard him whistle[:D] dont feel as popular now, only get a couple of letters a week instead of 10 or so a day [:D]

Hiya hun, I know just what you mean. I feel completely cleansed and have a new inner motivation which has generally given me a new lease of life. Onwards and upwards, it can only get better - she says cautiously. Well done to you too hunnii, keep up the good work. K x

I actually got a letter from Welcom Finance the other day threatening us - saying we hadn't paid for months...blah blah blah! The fact that we had our IVA approved in March makes you wonder where they've been for the last 6 months!!!
It's nice to receive a letter like that and not have to panic and have that awful feeling of what on earth to do next!

I do wish that all these companies would start singing from the same hymn sheet!!!!

Yeah they should you are right!
I got loads of calls from Morgan Stanley after we were approved - and then on Tuesday got a letter from them saying they now knew about the IVA and would inform the credit agencies about me - like I even care what my credit rating is since never want credit again!
I just laughed when I read it - it almost read as if they were saying 'so there'!! Very funny really [:D]
However Barclaycard are still ringing - despite selling our debt to Max Recovery and despite MR voting yes!!!! So dumb [:p]

Well I would think my credit rating must look like someone has bled on it, there must be so much red!!!

As you say Til - who cares at the moment. They can't default you after the IVA has been agreed anyway.

Thanks for your replies Guys, I am glad I cheer you up Viki, I do try to remain happy but don't always succeed. I think of life two or three months ago, and there's no comparison. I look forward to getting up the next morning to take on the world. Kazzy x
