I personally would love nothing more than to pay back every penny, like te majority of forum members but I had to wake up and smell the coffee and realise I was getting close to not being able to pay them anything at all!

What are SIVA's? I have asked on another thread but no response yet and I'm intrigued....

SIVAs are a proposed new style of simplified IVA, which are due to be introduced either later this year or early next year. They avoid the need for annual reviews, and basically if you offer £300 that is what you pay for the duration, with no uplifts. There are other minor differences, but the main advantage is that you only need to get a 50% majority rather than 75%, so this is useful if you have some difficult creditors.

We are all watching this space, as this proposed change to procedure started off in 2000!

I cannot believe it is that long - I remember your posts from last year, when your partner was expecting, and that just seems like 5 minutes ago. Best of luck with the move and look forward to the update.
