ive been looking over my finances in preparation for the little one arriving and, i have mentioned it would be difficult whilst my partner is on maternity - difficult but not impossible i must add - i was going to propose to payplan if i could reduce my payments for 6 months over maternity from 358 to 200 and then add the difference in payments at the end? do u think this may be accepted?

Agreed. Your IP can reduce your payments by 15% without going to your creditors, anything over that and they have to check with them.

I think that seems fair ... and good to see that you are thinking about it in advance.
