i used to be with natwest (3 years ago) when i got into debt and when i changed accounts to start afresh i went to lloyds tsb - gave me a card no problem - until i realised they'd given me a Visa Delta (platinum) with a monthly charge...haven't changed it, as i'm with companies like the AA it's actually saved me money more than anything. godknows how i got it mind you.
