I would be interested to know on what items or areas they expect you to reduce you spending. Are yo a home owner?

Did you advisor at Clearstart go through all the options avaliable (including IVA) when you had your initial discusion with them

They did. I also did a good research online before concluding that IVA is the best solution for my case.

The CCCS have produced a list of recommended levels of expenditure which they, and other creditors, rely upon in order to determine whether to accept your offered level of payments. The allowances are very harsh in certain areas, and the people who vote on behalf of NatWest apply them rigidly. You may be able to broker some form of compromise, but don't expect this to be too generous. Hopefully as you say, your IP may be able to outvote this in any case.
