Stick with it rachell, it will go quicker then you think. Keep budgeting and make it a permanent life change.

Best of luck Chris.

Thanks for words of encouragement.Yes it is good feeling , the calls and letters from creditors have virtually stopped.Sticking to budget is not going too bad , what a shock to the system though, but definitely worth it as its a good feeling not having to worry where the moneys coming from to pay each debt.Im sure hubby and i will have some hard times ahead if something extra pops up unexpectedly, but we will cross that bridge when we come to it. Just happy at the moment that our ivas have been accepted and we are on a long road to a debt free future.

I wish you well too and hope to be joining you on the debt free road very soon. I've already paid my first payment up front so if accepted on Friday 59 more to go! x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Some kind of calendar with 60 boxes, place a tick in there each month and give yourself a small treat each time you do that, will be an amazing feeling of achievement once a month :)
