Hi All

I am hoping to move to the middle east in a year or two and am currently proposing an IVA. I am now worrying though that the IVA will affect my chances of obtaining a visa to the country?

Any know anything about this?

Are you expecting the IVA to have been concluded before you go to the Middle East?

If it is concluded, there should not be any reason why it should affect your ability to obtain a visa. I would make enquiries of the Embassy.

If you are expecting to go before your IVA is concluded, I would ask the question, 'How are you proposing to fund the move?'
Tell it like it is.

Move is being funded by employment opportunities. Both myself and my partner work in 'in demand' occupations that mean we will be on at least double to three times our UK salary plus it is tax free. Added to that my partners parents live there.

The IVA will not be concluded unless i offer a F&F before the move (which there is no guarantee of)
