I've only got £20 sitting on mine but will definately stop using it as I've emailed them about their varying balances and received a reply saying they knew about it! Ok they know about it, how are they going to resolve it......they didn't comment. I'll buy my diesel this week and then stop using it and wait for it to expire.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

That's what I'm going to do. They still haven't replied to my question about my disappearing transactions so I don't know really how much money I've got which is a pain!

I got a Bread card mainly to do some online shopping at Christmas. I did notice the varying balance thing too! I did not know that they had started to charge a transaction fee either! I have not been able to log in online to check my balance as it said I had been locked out and need to ring up, at 80p per minute! Arrraaah, I do not know how much I have left on the card now but I am not going to use it again!

I'd go to a cashpoint and see how much you have on the card Jane. It costs you £1.50 to withdraw the money, but you might have enough on there to withdraw it!

Hi Skippy.... sorry if this is no use but as im just in the early stages of setting up an Iva my self ive been reading your posts and looking for a pre card to use in the future and come across this from Neteller. £5 Set up fee NO transaction fee £2 cash machine withdrawl fee and i think it costs under a £1 to put money on it.

Cheers for that Peppermint. It looks quite good, (especially the fees!) but the good thing about the Bread card is that it's a Maestro and I couldn't see if this one was.

Bread have finally replied to my email and advised me that the £11.99 has 'dropped off' my account and is no longer pending - I know that, I told them that's what happened! I am going to wait until the last pending transaction has dropped off my account and withdraw the balance - I can't be doing with all this hassle!

Skippy: see below it looks like its a Mastercard and i think it only cost's 50p to load your money on it. The free transaction's are a big Bonus from what i can tell. I wonder if they would charge the £2 fee for cashback at the tills?

[:I]Didn't see that bit!

I'm definitely going to look into that a bit more later as it sounds quite good.

I've had my Cashplus card for almost two years now ... £4.95 p.month fee, no transaction charges and free to load at the Post Office. No problems during all the time I've had it (touch wood)and very good customer service.
