snowball effect of events leading me to debt!!

well il take your word for it im new to all of this and dont know the ins and outs of what they do, unfortunatley we live in a world where there are a lot of blood suckers waiting to seize there victims espesially when there at there lowest - you only have to watch tv for an hour an youl see some sort of 'no win no fee' claims ad an il bet my left arm some of those arnt as 'free' as they make out, as with iva's im sure theres some people here would recommend and some they wouldnt. eg i used to sell and i know in the finance market there can be some very nice commission cheques and fully loaded bmw's i know i had one too! - hope this hasnt offended [:)]

fair enough i didnt know exactly what work is involved, its not that i begrudge paying them just putting the money where i owe it - an no i dont really want to pay over 11 years! [^]

wish we had looked into it deeper before we committed to debt matters , they are crap, I would look at Ian Millington or mel giles on here, they seem on the ball and fair....after all 5k for 5 years work is not much if you break it down over each year.

Good idea mel, the flaw in the plan is he blew his 'nest egg' in the deposit so wouldnt be able to 'buy me out'. to be honest all i want to do is rub my hands of the place, its his investment i mearly helped in the morgage if the place gets sold cos of me he'l do his nut cos we got it in an area with alot of building work and wont be worth selling untill its done (3-5 years) i dont want to drag him down cos i ballsed up - is it not as simple as putting it in his name an taking me off, im trying to make effort in binning off my liabilities to free up cash to pay more off?
