animaleyes, I've just told him what you said and he laughed!

Hubbie said it was ok, but he was just waiting to get to the bar in the interval and afterwards. I think it helped to numb the pain!

Well I've been and I'm back and they were excellent, like I said I'm not the fan so probably didn't appreciate their talents as much as I should, but husband had a great time, singing along to all the songs etc., great atmosphere. Few weeks back there was a thread re do you need your car? well in Manchester yes! We tried to save as much diesel as possible and also had a tight budget well we drove to Mum's then drove to hotel, got ready back to Mum's into town via bus £2.20 watched concert finished just after 11 only to find all buses back to Mum's finished at 11.08 and we got to bus station at 11.20! Walked to Piccadilly but still no buses running for her route so admitted defeat and got a taxi for £7.00! Had allowed £10 for public transport and spent most of that in the first day! GRRRR! Would have been cheaper to take car into town and pay for parking in the end! Went shopping into Manchester today and kept well within budget got £3.76 left! Woohoo!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

glad to hear you and hubby enjoyed.

Good point about the car Lesley - I remember the post you're talking about. Just proves how out of touch public transport is.
