It is good to talk, especially if you can't tell many people about your situation.

My husband is also in an IVA, his two kids and our daughter know but that't it. Daren't tell parents, and no way would I tell work.

There are times when I would love to say something to somebody else, but at those times, I come on here and either make a post, or update my blog.

Hi Happy and welcome to the forum
it is good having somewhere to talk and not have to watch what you say! my parents know but only cus I still live at home! They tend to worry more than me though!
it can be lonely at times and the forum is a lifeline for most of us!

Hi all

thanks for all the positive feed back, I have had a great day today ready them all. For me and my husband starting our IVA was the best thing we ever did, the thought of having a credit card now makes me feel sick, today is actually the first anniversary of our IVA, what a great feeling, for the first time we have not been overdrawn in a year, it was hard at first but I actually enjoy being carful with money.

Talk to you all soon

Hi happy and a big hello from me as well.

Great to hear all is going well. It makes a great difference to be able to talk freely about things. Have a moan if you feel like it or ask if you are unsure about anything.

Just to add a little to angel rainbows post. Not sure if you are aware but we have frugal friends meetings every eight weeks or so. They are held in different parts of the country to enable all to get a chance to come. Have a look at the forum heading frugal friends xmas party, the next is in walsall and is looking like a great evening, lots are coming. This is our first xmas get together, so should be a great night. Please feel welcome to come.

Keep posting

all the best

Ang
