Hi Everyone,
Well I waited and waited on Friday for my phone call. By 2pm I was getting in a state so I decided to call the OR. I was told everything looks fine with my I & E form, but she wants to talk to me about why I decided to petition for BR and gave me an appointment for the 28th May. Apparently she has sent me some paperwork detailing the information she needs. My cashminder account is fine and I've spoken to the co-op who are also ok with the account - that's one less worry. She also seemed OK about the OH buying the beneficial interest in the house.
She was very plesant but I am a born worryier and am getting more and more stressed that the phone call didn't sort things out like it has for others. Do you think there is something wrong?
Sorry to be a pest but I can't seem to get my mind to settle.

Hi Chardonnay,

Everything is normal, hubby had 2 phonecalls in total. The one you'll have on the 28th May will take about 45 mins. They'll talk through the I&E just to make sure you've put everything down. They'll be able to tell you there and then how much /if any IPA you'll need to pay.

Its also normal to worry [:)] but honestly eveything will be fine. You've done the hard bit, you're just waitng to see what payments need to be made and sort out the house. As I said in previous posts, there are so many people going BR its a slow process. Hubby went BR Feb 9th and his first payment will be made 28th May. I'm also waitng for the next step to uy the BI.

Hope this puts your mind at rest so you can enjoy your Sunday [;)]xx

Thanks Swans Girl,
I'm so wound up I'm not retaining information - I couldn't remember when the phone call was and now I'm not so sure what was said on Friday - I think I'm going loopy.
I think the appointment on the 28th is for me to go and see the OR, not a phone call?? I just can't remember.
I think I'll have to phoe again to confirm the details - unless the paperwork she mentioned arrives in the next few days. I don't want to be a pest in case she takes a dislike to me!!
You've re-assured me lots so thanks again.
Best wishes,
Chardonnay x

You're not going loopy Chardonnay! It is natural to be worried about what is going to happen, and I am sure the OR is used to people phoning up to question things.

well if you're loopy I'm loopy too [:D] Phone them if you want to clarify anything, we've phoned them a few times and hubby's phoning them again tomorrow.

Its probably a phone call on the 28th, I think the face to face interviews are more for self employed BR's. If you do have a face to face you'll be able to see their human like the rest of us [:)]

Hi Chardonnay, I've been off the froum for a bit and didn't realise you'd gone bankrupt now! Well done for doing it! I'm sure it wasn't as bad as you thought it would be and I'm sure the OR interview will be fine as well! The OR is human and I found mine to be very fair and friendly. Just found out we definately get to keep our cars (although they've told me I can keep one I had to scrap a year ago, not the one on my statement of affairs! I think this proves they are human and can make mistakes!) Other than that haven't heard anything from them apart from having a reciept for all the paperwork we sent in!
11 months to go! In the IVA it would've been 2 years!!

Thanks Everyone,
Fabulous support, help and advice as always [:D][:D][:D]
I've been busy this morning putting all the papers I think I may need into a file - still some sorting to do, but at least they are all in one place.
So if and when the OR Call or face to face takes place I'll have all the infomation together!! [:)]
I feel better now I'm organised,
Thanks again,

You'll get written confirmation from the OR's office of the time and date of the meeting, and it'll also confirm if it's a face to face or telephone interview.

I had 2 phone calls, the first one was a brief call to confirm a couple of account details and to arrange the date and time of the interview. The second one was the actual interview which lasted 20 minutes and was nowhere near as bad as I expected x

You're welcome, I can remember how scary it is and to be honest when I had to ask for my IPA to be reassessed last month it all came flooding back. This time though I was a lot more confident thanks to the advice and support on and off the forum, so if I can help anyone else in the same situation I'm happy to do it xxx
