its your subconcious mind thats doing it sparkly

perhaps the creditors meeting is playing on your mind ? good luck by the way hun x

i had the same problem last night-after doing nightshifts for nearly 12 weeks straight im up til 5/6 in the morning on my days off then fall asleep lol[:D]

i have read things like a cup of warm milk lavender scent on your pillow is supposed to help a warm bath-but youve probably tried all those x

Hi.It's IVA worries that do it for me.Hence, the time now! Still wake in pamic and I'm 18 months in.Like walking around with big bad secret all the time.Change to decaff from at least 4pm, have a routine- bath, shower, warm milk drink, read a book, don't watch tv for the last hour as this stimilates.I stop and I fall asleep- it's the staying a asleep all night I struggle with!

I don't think there is much you can do Sparklywatcher. I don't think I properly slept from Feb to May. (Good job I can get by on little sleep). It was only after the creditors meeting that I felt better. And it was immediate, the first night I slept like a log... or was that the wine?
Anyway, not long now, try to do something over the bank holiday to keep you busy. Step up the exercise, also perhaps limit the forum access immediately before bedtime, as otherwise all this stuff will be swimming round you mind. [xx(]

I must admit that since being in the IVA it has never stopped me from sleeping. It's usually stupid little things that wake me up in the night (the dog or the husband![:D])

Hi Sparklywatcher, once you've had your creditors meeting I'm sure you will start having decent sleep again, most posters on here go through the same pattern, ie, posting at late o'clock and again in the early hours. This is because you have constant doubts running through your mind at the times you need to be relaxed.

We have all experienced what you are going through, some more than others, your meeting is just weeks away so hang in there and you know there are always people on here to chat to [:)]

On a lighter note, I always try and imagine myself taking a 2 hour guided tour round Man City's trophy room.....

Works for me every time.

[:D] Size5!

Sorry, I can't help with this as insomnia hasn't ever affected me! I fell asleep standing up on a train once!

Jan, I seem to remember a thread yesterday about someone who know someone in an IVA but thought they were overspending. I cannot trace this. Was it deleted?

Its only started recently but I seem to fall asleep easily but wake about 4am and start dosing off again when its time to go to work. Then I find it hard to get up!

That topic has been locked Phil - not by me so not sure why.

Debbie - I always find that on days I don't need to get up at 6, I wake up then. When I have to get up at that time, it's the alarm that wakes me up!
