Hi Pap,

So sorry for your loss. It is always sad when you put your beloved animal down, and on top of everything else you must be going through my thoughts are with you this evening.

All the best Pap

Such lovely posts, my ex-hubby (we're still friends) lost his beloved dog today too to cancer. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

These are all lovely posts and just goes to show how much we all care for our pets and how well loved they are but of course they give us unconditional love in return.
I can't imagine how people hurt poor defenceless animals, our dogs eyes were still so trusting today as the vet was injecting him.
Thank you for all your kind thoughts and Lesley, sorry to hear about your exhubby's dog today too. I feel quite fortunate that I got some really good photos of our dog a few weeks ago so I can get a nice frame and put it up.
The other dogs are really subdued still, I'm sure they're missing him too.

In answer to PD - I didn't realise that you had lost a horse as well this year, how awful for you both.

We got another dog last year within a week of losing ours. Firstly because our little dog was moping round and secondly because we had got used to having two dogs.

I have to say Pap, I'm afraid I couldn't stay with our dog, hubby did, but I had to leave after I had said goodbye to her and stand in the waiting room blubbing until hubby came out.

I would like to add my sympathies too. Pets are members of the family and its heartbreaking when we lose one. Im sure you gave him the best possible happy life.

Take care xxx

Thank you to everyone for your kind words.
The house is really quiet without him and the other 2 dogs are looking for him in all his usual places....
