Nice to hear from you Lili ... not so good to hear you're leaving us. Take care and keep smiling, the world is waiting for you.

Hi again and thanks for the lovely messages.

I feel a bit of a fraud with the expert status and not posting also. I did ask admin to give it to someone else who posts.

Coley boy has just come back, again and his attitude is: I am not a munch boy, I am cat with a cat life and you can just get over it, after you have fed me of course.

Munchy boy, please, a little bit nice, yes. Bubble tail? come on, I have a territory to police, I need a bit of street cred. I oculd do without this arrrrgh, look at him, you munchy, handsome, cuddly, beauti boy,m mush. Can I have two helpings of munchy moustache milk with my nummies today please? Long day and I need it. Make that 3 helpings, cause I am very little bit nice and you know it.

That kind of mood. I tried to ignore him until he gave me a snout in the eye but he is so damn munchable.

So glad the lovely Cole is back to his normal self and Lloyd and Suzie send their love.

Doesn't matter how often you post - you give great support and some of your posts do help. I often wish I could put things as eloquently as you do.

We love to see you, so please stick around.

You always write such warm, sincere heartfelt posts and I am sure that will be sorely missed. I believe the expert status is as much about having experience of the emotional and day to day life with insolvency as it is about being fully conversant with debt!

Lily,

Cole has you wrapped around his paw....and rightly so. What do they say, cats don't have owners, they have servants [:)]

Thanks AR

I do feel that its a learning curve. This debt thing, its a bit dark and scary and you dont exactly need a laxitive when the proverbial and all his mates hit the fan. A forcced, smash in the mouth, punch in the belly and a squeeze in the goolies (if you have any) type learning curve. But...... it does teach you, I have done my Christmas shopping with what I have, never even thought of borrowing (not that I could). Or going over the budget.

You have said exactly what Toria just said, I am so tightly wrapped around Coles paw, he could snort me up his nose and I would still love him. She said he swaggers in looks at me and I am pampering him with ham and milk. I am putting my foot, no toe down a bit and trying to ignore him. Its like giving up the fags all over again.

Same here - I've just done most of my shopping today and was really pleased that for the second year in a row it has all been paid for in cash.

Just a few odds and sods left to get now.

I bet you can't ignore him though!

I presume you are still off the evil weed?

Yes, I just had a little munch and got a little purr.

Still off the weed almost 6 months. I have put a little weight on but hey ho. Its a 12 instead of a 10, I am going to invent a stretch machine so I shall be a bit taller, carry it a bit better. I have a fag pot, I have saved quite a lot and not been tempted to spend it on Christmas. Its freezing here, this old house is draftly and its cold living in sticksville. I think thats where the money is going to go. Sooooo glad I dont have to go out there to smoke, I would turn to an ice sculpture.

I am a non smoker now, I dont really miss it that much, if I am stressed I just OD on kit kats. I have one of those fake things that you puff and it makes you cough.

Its the best thing I have done, I am so much healthier, even though I would have sworn blind, it wasnt affecting my health.

One thing I do have to buy is a chrimbo tree, we always had real ones and planted them in our garden. Nathan is just about walking now and babies should walk with bare feet. So a real one is out of the question.

Well done Lily.

We haven't done a real tree for years as they are quite expensive. This year we've got a small fibre optic one.

Christmas gets less and less in this house every year.

Should be a nice peaceful Christmas in the country for you this year.

I wait until they get a bit cheaper, quite a few round here as it happens. They had them at the Asda.

It will be beautiful and peaceful outside the house (personally I cant wait for the spring) but with my lot coming, its going to be a made house here but I will love it. My son has a fantastic sense of humour and we kind of get each others. I wrap the presents and give them stupid names, they have to work out who they are for. It was nothing to do with the names, last year the letters were coded but they dont know that. This year I have wrapped everything twice (I know, I know I do have my own landfill site, I mean I recycle stuff). One of the names is Edward Littlebals, another is Stanley Stupid. ~The real names are underneath. They are going to thinking, I hope thats not me... I cant wait.
