I've added JW and i got a request from a GC the other day, I did see something in my email about her but can't remember her id on here. Anyone know !!!

I use FB occasionally, though in the last few weeks I have put mroe on than before. If you don't want to go on forum and you want to send quick message its great.

I don't have a facebook friend with those initials Karin - are you sure it is someone from the forum? If you manage to find out, let me know.

I like FB for the fact I've lots of different group of friends from workplaces from years ago, from when my children were growing up, the forum and some of my students, some of my children's friends too. I love reading the newsfeed but that's the nosey in me!

As my son can testify it can also be Farcebook and believe me one person has been vile to him to the point that we seriously considered taking action but the power of FB prevailed and I posted about it on my status and what action we were considering taking and lo and behold all incriminating evidence was removed and not another word said! However, Lesley was one step ahead and screen dumped everything and it's sitting here in a folder just in case.

I can see it in both lights and my husband wouldn't touch FB he's not a fan at all. x

I've found a few people I've lost touch with on FB, but I'm friends with very few people I went to school with - I had requests from them, so I accepted them, had a nose at what they are up to and then deleted them! I didn't like half of them at school so I don't know why I'd want to be friends with them now!

Oooooo Sorry just catching up again :)
Paul you will get a request from me & Ive just hunted through n found a few others - so if your Wondering who LW is its Me!!!!!

I like FB for keeping in touch & its great to actually "see" posters, especially from the social point of this forum. I love catching up on the photos of pets & children that we discuss on here.
But I totally agree with Skippy on the people whom add you from school days that you were never even friends in the first place!
My profile is as secure as I can get it, you can only view my info etc if your a friend.

I have only got 1 friend from my schooldays that I dont speak to now until fb the rest are either current friends, work people, family or people from here and the Queenonline forum (the rock group, not royalty )I belong to. Every so often I have a cull of people I have had no contact with.

I love FB for keeping in touch (or being nosey) with my girls and family - we have great banter [:D]

My profile is as private as I can make it, but still have to be careful.

I have people on there that I don't particularly bother with, so maybe a clean up is needed [:D]

Julie I quite agree. I do have some dodgy people who say they know me asking to be friends but I either have no idea who they are or they appear to be on the dodgy side so I ignore them.

That is one good thing about FB - at least you can do that.

Paul - my pleasure.

Don't know who the GC is then, so am sorry if that person is on here but have removed them. I went through their list and we had no friends in common, not sure. Please add me again if you are on here and let me know who you are LOL
