No, you should have no problem with that. The majority of us do it.

All your standing orders or direct debits can be transferred to your new account fairly easily. I did it all myself and once you've contacted the releavnt company it's pretty painless.

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I bank with ThinkBanking.com through RBS. It's a managed account so your Direct Debits are kept separate. You know exactly where you are with your money. There's no credit checks. £25 set up fee and £12 per month. I'm still keeping the account. It really helps with keeping to a budget

I suppose it would be as you obviously pay them board. You would have to be able to provide proof of the fact that you are paying them money but VB will advise you about that.

Personally speaking, I wouldn't use an account that charged me unless I had to as there are so many free ones still out there.

yep i assume this because no matter who lives at the property if i have free run of the property but am not the owner but pay a fixed fee for this access then this is a rental fee.

I think so but as long as you can send in proof of what you are paying there shouldn't be a problem.

VB will sort this out for you.
