I take multi vitamins every day, doesn't stop me getting colds though. Have to say that this is just a bad throat, head and stomach.

Will probably take tomorrow off to make sure it goes as all of us in the house have gone down with it.

Thankfully, shopping is all done now.

I hope you're all feeling better soon.

I have to disagree about paracetamol being as effective as some of the cold remedies. If I only take paracetamol it takes the edge off any pain, but something like Nurofen or Sudafed make feel so much better. It's not psychological either - OH agrees and he's a cynic!

With a headache, it has to be paracetemol - rarely get them but that does it for me everytime.

Anadin Extra Soluble is the only thing that works for me if I get a really bad headache. I don't buy brand names for the sake of it but if I find something that works it's worth paying extra!

It really is very sad when you get sick right by the time when there are big celebrations in the area because by then, you are limited to a few stuff to be able to do and participate with, leaving you at the losing end of it all. Though, there are still ways to enjoy them, but on a superficial level only. Enjoy good company, stories and laughter that is passed around, and that could already make up for it.

Still feeling iffy today but going into work as there's only me in at 7.30!!! All of the household suffering with the dreaded lurgy.

Thankfully, Christmas will be it's usual quiet self and we'll be at home all weekend.
