Congratulations Lesley - I'm sure you're excited about the new addition.

Thank you Jan, you know I love em to bits and they keep me young 'ish'. Not sure I want 8 together at my house though, a few at a time is good for me. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Congratulations Lesley and Lisa! I have to say I don't envy you though - children age me rather than keep me young!!!

I'm pleased I don't have children - but I absolutely adore my niece and nephew and would give my life to save them. I am hoping that when they have children I will be just as involved as I have been with them...I can give them back after their 2 week hol in the summer.

I like having adult children - my daughter spent Christmas Day with her fiance and future inlaws and that suited me down to the ground.

Can't wait until the IVA is finished and we can go away.

I bet you can't - especially after this weekend! I spent the weekend before with the folks and kids having a pre Xmas dinner and party and then Xmas was quiet with the hubby. No running around seeing anyone, arguing, too many chocolates etc.

Pretty much perfect really, apart from no big lottery win!!

My best christmas presents were nice feelings!!!
1) This time last year - all my presents went on plastic, this year since my IVA was accepted, I had bought small gifts throughout the year, and was grown up enough to say to my sister, can we not buy for each other this year. Also we decided as a family to have a bran tub (secret santa) and all put £10 in and we drew names out of a hat and kept it secret) - it was really fun watching everybody open and guess who had bought them!
2) I had the great feeling that financially even though it is very tight, I had budgeted enough and wouldn't be skint upto Christmas or in january!
3) this time last year I was scared what to do and thought I was going to lose my home for me and my daughter, this year I had no worries and can look forward to 2012 with clear head and even better at bargain food shopping!!!
IVA accepted 31.05.11 and 2 reviews DONE!!! Wow,nearly approaching my third. can't believe how time has flown!
December 2015 - made a one off payment and made a settlement of the IVA!! recieved certificate in May. - all completd and now I can get on with my life

I have to say I was spoilt by my parents this year and they bought me a gorgeous netbook and in return I gave them my old laptop. As much as I loved my old laptop it was a little large and I was too lazy to get it out all the time.

However this little thing is 'totes amaze' as they say lol!!!

I love my laptop - the bigger the better as far as I am concerned!! Mine is out all of the time though - I just hibernate it when I go out or go to bed.

I only have a small room and no where to have it out all the time. I have it on my knee whenever I use it so the smaller the better for me right now! Plus I can take it to work and have it in my handbag rather than a case that would be obvious! x

I use my phone at work as I have unlimited internet access so it's brilliant!!

I only ever use the forum and FB when at work - everything else can wait!!
