I'm off to do some of the above, not at the nearest City or Shopping complex,I'm found out there are 11 Charity Shops locally. I'm spending the day trawling them.I've done a route map and all. Will let you know how I've got on[:)]

Good luck and a double benefit of the day is you save money and the charity receives some well needed funds.

An update of any bargains you found would be nice. I know some of my friends swear by charity shops as some are fairly high class by all accounts.

Hi All

I walked round 10 Charity shops ,bought a top for £5.00
as I'm a size 22-24 not as much choise as smaller sizes. But if I was a smaller size lots more to choose from Per Una, Topshop,Monsoon etc. Worth looking as a lot of stuff new or hardly worn[:D]

I ought to look really but doubt my little ol town would have a lot worth having. However, might seek out a few when I'm next in Manchester.

That is very helpful thank you very much and I am familiar with that area. Not often I go into town when there I must admit but will be in April as it's granddaughtes birthday and we have to go to Build a bear workshop for a new top for her bear! I will be definitely venturing in there those two for sure.

She loves Deansgagte but for a whole new reason some university outfitters apparently!

I'll take her in there when I go and see if she finds anything.

Having just sold my whole wardrobe on ebay as lost so much weight i looked like a tramp in my clothes even though most of them were almost brand new...i can agree with dunkynuts charity shops have little for the bigger person,...however i have bought n sold lots of items on ebay recently and been really pleased with the quality.

I do one car boot a year, accumulating a lot of stuff in the understairs cupboard between car boots. What doesn't sell goes to the tip on the way home. Usually make between £50-£80 per year.
