Hi folks, im a novice here so bear with me. Our two eldest will hopefully go to uni in September. They will receive the minimum assistance from the student loan/grants as it'd based on parents gross income. We however are in no position to help with their living costs. Has anyone experienced this before and do you believe creditors will allow us to reduce our monthly payments in order to provide some financial assistance.

My daughter was in 6th form and uni when I was in my IVA and we were given a very small allowance towards here needs. I couldn't help a lot but she did find herself a part-time job to supplement her loan. It's so tough I do agree but do talk to your IP as you never know they may suggest something.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
