First we get ou notice to vacate then the landlord retracts it, then he gets another estate agent to value it, along with the rotten floor under the bath!!! (never quite know when I'm standing in the shower whether i am going to disappear through it![:D])

Anyway me being the devious little madam that I am emailed the agents saying that we were looking to relocate to our area to be nearer my mother and what did they available? lo and behold get email back to day with a few properties and in brackets - one might be becoming available in our road!!! hmmm...me thinks is that too much of a coincidence that they value it and it might be available.

Just really want to know what ourt landlords longer term plan is as we feel very much in limbo now and my runner bean plants are suffering coz we haven't plucked up the courage to plant them out as knowing our luck we'll have to pack up!!! i know nothing is ever definite but would just like to know whether he is intending to sell this year or next!

Rant and whinge over, so back to work [:)]

Oh Louise, you must be sick as a chip!! It's awful the way your landlord is treating you, I would look for somewhere else so that you don't have this uncertainty hanging over you. I know it's easier said than done but it can't be doing you any good having this to worry about everytime your tenancy is up, [:(]
Hope things get a bit better for you,
xx

I tend to agree look for somewhere else and remove the worry of what the landlord is going to do. It must be awful being so uncertain. I hope you sort out soon.

We are sorely tempted but don't want to unessarily cut our nose off despite our face. We pay exceptionally good rent for what we have and wouldn't be too bothered if we could have some kind of definitive answer. The thing is also did this 2 years ago, got a buyer and then pulled out!!!

We've seen a couple of places that we kinda like and that would be possible for us to move into but it is also whether the bank of mum and dad are prepared to help us in these circumstances. I know it won't be a problem if we had to.

Oh what fun and games and these things are sent to try us!!! i am hoping the agents will get back to me later so i can see if they can have a discreet word in his ear! If there is such thing as a discreet letting/estate agent!!!!

Ho hum and back to work[:)]

Sorry to be the wet blanket BUT the letting agent works for your landlord not you so I don't think they will be that discreet. [:(] Have you thought that it might be because you are paying a good rate in rent that he wants you out? It could be that he wants to maximise he's rent revenue and to do that he needs new tenants.....[:(!]
