I'm feeling very sorry for myself at the moment. I had to call the doctor out Saturday morning because I was feeling so rubbishy. It turns out I have sinusitus and a viral infection which is affecting my chest, ears, throat and my tonsalls are swollen. The reason I'm feeling sorry for myself is that I have been downstairs all night coughing so badly that I haven't been able to catch my breath. I have heard my dad go across to the toilet but do you think he shouted down to check if I was still alive of course not. If anything did happen he probably wouldn't notice until there wasn't any lunch for him.
I miss my mum!!!!!!!!![V]
Hugs
Sue

Hope you are feeling better soon Susie. My wife has visited A&E for her sinusitus and is due to go for an op to help her as she gets it very frequently.

You're entitled to moan as much as you like - you're having a rubbish time at the moment.

I do think illness is brought on once you have been made BR - the relief at having done it, the wondering what comes next and in some cases guilt. I had a migraine after I went to court, then I got a cold and a huge cold sore came up on my lip and I had an outbreak of mouth ulcers!

Oh Sue, you poor thing. It's horrible when coughing keeps you awake and sinus stuff is a pain. I know how you must be feeling and i'm sending you a big hug, a box of chocolates and a bowl of chicken soup!

Your Dad sounds just like mine, he worked all his life on the ships and when i'm sick in bed he says. "If you were ill on the ship you'd just get carried down to the engine room to carry on with your work! Now chop chop, up you get....you'll feel better!"

We're all here to fuss over you Sue!

Hope you start to feel a bit better soon. Viki X

Hope your feeling a bit better Sue. I was ill the other week with a chest infection and had THE worst headache I have ever had. I was in bed and was listening to the hubby and kids laughing and joking, I felt so sorry for myself I started to cry which made my headache worse....not the best idea I've ever had!
It's nice to be back......

Oh I do hope you feel better soon, my daughter took her first GCSE on Tuesday 20th when she was under the weather, thought she was sickening for something and hasn't been to school since, got Glandular Fever now and spent the whole of last week confined to sofa as no energy etc., It's not nice, should have gone back to school today but still hasn't and it's end of year exams and that is fretting her even more. Head of year is going to call me today. On top of this she has tonsilitis and the back of her throat is almost closed up.

I do hope you're feeling a little better today?
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I'm feeling worse at the moment. I'm on anti biotics and I'm hoping they kick in soon. I know what you mean chris.g I could quite easily have sat and cried. I found out why dad didn't come down and check on me. He's going down with a cold and was soaked in sweat. I need to keep an eye on him with his lungs the way they are.
Lesley your poor daughter. Glandular fever can last for 2 weeks with the tiredness lasting months after.
Hugs

Awww. df susie

The problem is, we cant get man flu can we, girls? So whatever ailments we get, we have to get on with it. Now take christmas, I had umpteen stitches in my belly and blimey, my eldest did the dishwasher for me, for me. Never mind the stuff in it was all theirs.

What did I say? You did it for me when its all your mess, you did it for yourself you mean you little shet, he was so shocked, mind you so was I. I was kind of thinking it but it slipped out, theres a first time for everything, I guess.

Hope you feel better soon

You're lucky yours knows where the dishwasher is - ours brings her dirty dishes downstairs or in from the lounge and dumps them on the working surface near the sink. The dishwasher is about 2 steps futher on!
